Inclusion & Belonging

Each of our schools receive an annual inclusion review. The review provides a complete audit of provision and is led by the headteacher of our outstanding special school. SENCOs meet termly to receive professional development as part of our inclusion strategy. Training and reviews are led by our experts and align to the SEND code of practice and Ofsted’s toolkits. 

We also provide annual safeguarding reviews to our schools. These reviews are written by safeguarding experts and follow the latest government guidance. They include a full check of the single central record, interviews with stakeholders and case study sampling. 

We are proud to have been chosen to lead the Stafford and Newcastle arm of Staffordshire’s 'Enhanced District Inclusion Support Model' (SEDIS). SEDIS provides in-reach and out-reach support designed to empower mainstream schools to address the needs of children and young people facing learning barriers and to support inclusion.
